Alta Arlo
Taking advantage of the site’s steep grade change, the property has multiple buildings ranging from three to seven stories. To break up the massing of the 340,650-square-foot, 243-residence development, the buildings use a mix of materials, including brick, rusted metal panels, cedar, black metal accents, and cement board.
The through-block connection serves as a hill-climb, with terraced gardens, concrete benches, festival lights and retail spaces.
Units include studio, one- and two-bedrooms, as well as a few two-story live/work units. Ranging from 450 square feet to 1,000 square feet, each residence has access to daylight and views since the buildings wrap around a the central courtyard, with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and lounge chairs.
Other amenities include a co-working space, fitness center, bike parking, and a dog-washing station. The roof deck is accessed through a sky lounge, and includes a fire pit, grill station and activity lawn.
