New construction of a 81,132 sf, Type II-B 3-story + mezzanine level building for large group instruction, computer classrooms, bookstore, library and culivary arts program. Exterior is brick with metal deck with concrete infill on floors above grade. Building is all steel framed with steel joist and masonry and metal siding with extensive storefront and curtain wall systems. Interior is metal stud and drywall with extensive integral colored polished concrete floors, linear wood ceilings and high level institutional finishes. Project includes solar electrical generation system, extensive audio-visual systems and two new instructional kitchens. The project is LEED Silver.
